Fall Colors Trail Ride

Back the way we came. Are rocky trails
worse going up or down?

Laura leading the way.

Shorty in his winter coat.
Nero blended with the grass.

Melanie and Gabrielle after the creek crossing.
Chrissie watching the group navigate the rocky incline.

All the horses were good. The trails were sometimes difficult because of the shifting rocks underfoot.
Discussing horses.

Janet's mare liked to stride out.
Draft crosses saying hi.

Making their way back to the trailers.
Dually blends in with the fall colors.

There were some eventers out today.
The grass was always tempting.

Another craggy incline.
We kept the horses spaced out coming down.

Mary Ann didn't realize she'd be in a number of the pictures taken during the day.
The colors are changing fast, and a lot of the leaves have already fallen.

In site of the trailers.
Melanie and Bandit towards the back.

Gabrielle and her mare got gates and were available to help.
Skirting the road.

It was still chilly at the end of the ride.
The horses who hadn't been out before were surprised to see the trailers.

 Bella knew where she was.
